Prairie Lindy Exchange (PLEx) is a roaming swing dance exchange geared towards Western Canadian lindy scenes as a way to share ideas, collaborate, and feature each host city. The first PLEx happened in Saskatoon in 2005 with cities such as Winnipeg, Minneapolis, Calgary, and Edmonton hosting other years. Once a semi-annual exchange, now the exchange happens annually and this year is the 20th installment. Each year, Winnipeg gathers their dancers and treks across the prairies to visit the sister cities, and this year PLEx will be hosted in Winnipeg.
